Senji Foundation Sponsors Education for 100 Orphan Children in Kakiri

KAKIRI, UGANDA — In a major stride toward eradicating educational barriers for vulnerable youth, the Senji Foundation has officially launched a comprehensive educational sponsorship program supporting 100 orphan children in Kakiri.

Founded in 2026 by philanthropist Mukisa Zevirio, the foundation’s core mission is to uplift less privileged and homeless children through stable shelter and quality learning. This new initiative ensures that 100 young minds in Kakiri who have lost one or both parents now have a guaranteed pathway back to school and a chance to rewrite their futures.

Overcoming the Odds in Kakiri

For many orphans in the Kakiri region, continuing their education is a daily struggle due to the overwhelming burden of school fees, scholastic uniforms, and learning materials. The Senji Foundation’s intervention completely removes these hurdles by covering:

  • Full Tuition Fees: Ensuring uninterrupted access to classrooms for the entire academic year.

  • Scholastic Materials: Providing essential school supplies, including textbooks, exercise books, mathematical sets, and bags.

  • School Uniforms and Shoes: Restoring dignity and a sense of belonging for every sponsored child among their peers.

A Message from the Founder

Speaking on the launch of the Kakiri program, Founder Mukisa Zevirio emphasized that this is just the beginning of a deeper commitment to the community.

“Every child we back today represents a family transformed tomorrow,” said Zevirio. “Providing education to these 100 brilliant children in Kakiri is a core piece of our vision. While we secure their minds through schooling, we are simultaneously working toward our ultimate goal: establishing permanent, loving homes so that no less privileged child has to wonder where they will sleep at night.”

Be a Part of the Transformation

The transformation of 100 lives in Kakiri is a beautiful testament to what compassion can achieve, but thousands more children are still waiting for their chance. The Senji Foundation invites individuals, corporate entities, and global partners to join this journey.

Whether you choose to sponsor a child’s school term, donate learning materials, or support our upcoming permanent housing project, your contribution creates an undeniable ripple effect of hope.
