Founded in 2026 by Mukisa Zevirio, the Senji Foundation was born out of a profound sense of urgency and a deep love for Uganda’s most vulnerable children. Standing in the heart of Uganda, Mukisa witnessed firsthand the intersection of two devastating crises: the silent struggle of orphaned children lacking access to quality education, and the harsh reality of less privileged, homeless children navigating life on the streets without a safe place to call home. Refusing to accept this as an unchangeable reality, Mukisa established the Senji Foundation. We believe that every child, regardless of their background or birthright, deserves a secure foundation to stand on and a clear path toward a bright future.
